If there is a higher rate of illiteracy, nations can collapse. Being illiterate prevents someone from finding the best path for themselves, making them the slave of others who manipulate them. Instead, a literate individual may recognize what is proper and wrong for him. Illiteracy is a significant contributor to poverty since it results from illiterate societies.
Education is the most crucial thing since a literate and educated individual can manage things more accurately. Our society has to be aware of this fact. Girls are generally not allowed to acquire reading and writing in many tribes and illiterate civilizations, which is a problem for the entire country. Due to their extremely low literacy rates, many developing countries are now considered slaves of other countries. An uneducated guy is more susceptible to diseases, starvation, poverty, and servitude. Diseases spread because people are ignorant, and ignorance comes from illiteracy.
There is no end to the problems that come from illiteracy, but the issue is that most people don't really comprehend it. Even those with higher education do not want their daughters and sisters to receive the proper education. There is little doubt that the level of literacy around the world has grown, yet some nations still have lower literacy rates than the global average. These nations are more susceptible to armed conflict and enslavement. There are regions in some wealthy countries with extremely low literacy rates. The government is in charge of launching literacy initiatives that inform the populace about the value of literacy and persuade them to send their kids to school.
Additionally, some social work organisations aim to promote adult education and reach out to people of all ages. We have a duty to do our share to stoke the flame of education.
